AMADEUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL VIENNA is a vibrant, unique and dynamic IB World School (EY, PYP, MYP, DP & CP) located in heritage listed buildings on a beautiful campus in Vienna. With a strong commitment to creativity and performance throughout the school, AMADEUS has a dedicated Academy of Music and the Arts. Our excellent boarding facilities host students from around the world as part of a school community of more than 50 nationalities.


-Supporting and promoting AMAA (AMADEUS Music and Arts Academy) within Austrian and international communities.
-Administer all Academy programmes, activities and events.
-Establish and administer a schedule of instruction for the academy within the agreed parameters, including arranging cover lessons.
-Administration of a system of reporting on student performance and progress.
-Coordinate the induction and orientation of new AMAA staff.
-Attend AMAA performances and events in school and externally.
-Help to develop and coordinate musical tour and performance opportunities.
-Arrange for the regular tuning and good up keep of all school instruments and property.
-Oversees all invoicing of AMAA related accounts in communication with the accounting team.
-Supporting the organisation of the AMADEUS Festival Vienna
-Assisting with the administration and organisation of the String Orchestra
-Attend and support all whole school events.
-Support of all admissions related events and activities.
-Support in promotion of all Music and Arts related programmes – working with the Marketing Department to deliver materials including photo, video and textural content.
-Support colleagues in the smooth functioning of the school office including general cover and administrative support and communications with stakeholders (be up to date with all school happenings).
-Oversee the music practice room schedule and system of booking.



-Matura level or equivalent
-Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German language
-High service orientation
-Ability to work autonomously and also collaborate well with colleagues
-Organised and with strong computer skills
-Resourceful, with a positive disposition
-Well-presented and excellent manners
-Commitment, reliability, flexibility and trustworthiness and a high level of discretion
-Valid working permit / permission to work in Austria


-A Bachelor Degree qualification
-Additional languages
-Education sector experience
-Great attention to detail
-Passion for Music and Art

-The salary, depending on qualifications and experience, follows the current salary scale with a minimum gross monthly salary of EUR 2.250,00 for an employment based on a full-time equivalent
